WE ALL HAVE A STORY

A year after the horrific shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, PA, 300 students from over 90 campuses across North America came together to learn how to counter anti-Semitism at the ACT - Pittsburgh Assembly

Judah Samet—a Holocaust survivor living in Pittsburgh who who narrowly escaped the deadly rampage on October 27, 2018—addressed the students and told his remarkable stories.

This ongoing TellYourStoryNow campaign is an outgrowth of the conference and mirrors the proud, pro-active approach to countering anti-Semitism embodied by Judah. TellYourStoryNow gives voice to students across North America who have experienced anti-Semitism first-hand by allowing them to tell their own story.

TellYourStoryNow plays an important role in raising awareness about the prevalence—and variety—of anti-Semitism experienced by today's college students. Future campaigns inspired by the Pittsburgh Assembly will include strategies for countering anti-Semitism on campus.
